Economic relations
Over more than 30 years of diplomatic relations, Belarus and Israel have achieved a high level of economic cooperation, exceeding $150 million in bilateral trade in 2024.
Overall, Belarusian producers have shown growing interest in the Israeli market in recent years. The increase in exports to Israel is largely due to increased agricultural exports.
An important format for developing cooperation is the Joint Belarus-Israel Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation. The Belarusian side is headed by the Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus (K.Zalessky).
The main priorities of the economic partnership include cooperation in agriculture, industry, woodworking, and petrochemicals, joint projects in science and technology, and investment cooperation.
The Belarusian State Medical University is successfully implementing a project to train Israeli students in medical specialties.
One of the most effective ways to find new partners and increase recognition of domestic brands is to participate in international exhibitions. Every November, the International Food Exhibition "Israfood" is held in Tel Aviv. A number of Belarusian exporters are planned to participate in the exhibition in 2025.
