The Third Voluntary National Review on achieving the SDGs

The Third Voluntary National Review on the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development reflects Belarusian progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in recent years.

Belarus demonstrates sustainable socio-economic development and political stability, and is also classified as a country with a very high level of human development (65th place in the Human Development Index). New advanced sectors have emerged, such as space and nuclear energy. Special attention is paid to the IT industry and the transition to a digital economy is being successfully implemented.

According to the report prepared by the SDSN’s SDG Transformation Center, the Republic of Belarus ranked 32nd out of 167 countries in the SDG Achievement Index.
