On the Ambassador’s Participation in the Reception Marking Israel’s Independence Day

On April 22, 2026, the Ambassador of Belarus to Israel, Yury Yaroshevich, at the invitation of the President of the State of Israel, Isaac Herzog, took part in a national reception for the diplomatic corps on the occasion of Israel’s Independence Day.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus congratulated the President of Israel on Independence Day and conveyed greetings from the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on the occasion of the Israeli national holiday.

During the conversation, Isaac Herzog spoke warmly about Belarus and emphasized that the Mogilev Region is the homeland of the family of his spouse, Michal Herzog, something they always remember and never forget.
