On the Ambassador’s participation in the wreath-laying ceremony for Defenders of Fatherland Day

On February 21st, 2025, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the State of Israel, Yury Yaroshevich, participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the largest war memorial in the country, the “Wings” monument, dedicated to the victory of the Red Army over Nazi Germany. The memorial is located in the Israeli city of Netanya.

The commemorative ceremony, organized by the Russian diplomatic mission in Israel, was dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day.

The event was attended by Yuval Fuchs, Deputy Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads and representatives of the diplomatic missions of Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of veterans’ and public organizations and journalists.

The ceremony concluded with wreath-laying at the “Wings” monument.
