Opening of memorial dedicated to the 75th anniversary of UN resolution for establishment of Israel

On November 29 the Belarusian Ambassador E.Vorobyev took part in the opening of a memorial in Netanya dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the UN General Assembly resolution on the establishment of the State of Israel.

Representatives of the diplomatic missions of 33 states, including the Republic of Belarus, who supported this resolution on November 29, 1947, were special guests of the ceremony.

The event, organized by the World Zionist Organization, the Jewish American Society for the Preservation of Historical Heritage and the municipality of Netanya, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other state bodies of Israel, a number of non-governmental organizations and the local community.
