On the veterans’ award ceremony and visit to Nof-Hagalil

On October 30, 2024, Evgeny Vorobyev, Ambassador of Belarus to Israel, paid a working visit to Nof-HaGalil, which is a twin city of Bobruisk.

One of the main elements of the visit program was a home visit to veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Head of the Diplomatic Mission solemnly presented the veterans jubilee medals “80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Belarus from the Nazi Invaders”, congratulatory letters on behalf of the President of the Republic of Belarus A. Lukashenko “soldier’s triangle” and the Belarusian souvenirs.

As a part of the visit to Nof-HaGalil Ambassador met with the Deputy Mayor Alex Gadalkin. They discussed prospects for the development of regional cooperation, including within the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum of understanding on the development of friendly relations between Bobruisk and the city of Nof-HaGalil, signed in 2021.

A separate topic of discussion during the visit was possibilities of establishing trade and economic relations between twin cities, developing business contacts with the residents of “Tsiporit” Industrial Park, including the exchange of experience in the implementation of projects taking into account the specifics of doing business in each of the countries.
